Delicious Gluten Free Banana Bread

Not long ago at my supermarket, I saw an aisle that really aroused my attention as it only had products that were free of Gluten. It had Gluten free adaptations of a variety of different products that most folks take for granted. I thought it was a great notion as folk with an intolerance to gluten (Celiac's) can enjoy the same foods as us.

The experience then inspired me to review some of my latest recipes. I then believed it would be a good idea to share a Gluten free adaptation of these recipes that would certainly be enjoyed by folk who had to eliminate gluten from their diet.

My banana bread recipe was such a hit that I decided to share my very own version for our pals out there who can not consume gluten. So, without further ado, here's my delicious Gluten free banana bread recipe , and I'm sure that this recipe will take a place beside the absolute best of my traditional bread recipes.

Here's all of the ingredients you are going to need to make this delicious recipe:

Two cups of brown rice flour

Two teaspoons of starch

Half a teaspoon of sea salt

1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda

1 teaspoon of Gluten free baking powder

3 large bananas

Two (2) large eggs

1/3 cup of maple syrup

Half a cup of milk

2 teaspoons of vanilla

1 teaspoon of orange zest

1/2 cup of chopped walnuts

Below is a step by step preparation guide:

Preheat the oven to 350F.

Bring together the starch, the brown rice flour, sea salt, sodium bicarbonate and the Gluten free baking powder in a mixer bowl.

Create a puree by mushing the bananas together and you are now able to add eggs, maple syrup, milk, vanilla and the citrus zest.

Mix all the dry and the wet ingredients together in a large bowl. Pour the mixed contents of the bowl into a large baking tin.

You will need to bake this cake for roughly 50 minutes, but don't forget to keep an eye on it! Frequently check if you can poke the center with a toothpick or knife and if nothing sticks to it, then you're ready to go!
