Whole Wheat Or Rye Bread
Will this food and excercise plan work to help me lose weight?
I want to lose about 10 pounds by summer (around June 15th). I am almost 14. I want to do this to feel healthier and to not feel so self-concious when i'm wearing shorts or a bathing suit around other people. NO, I am not planning to go on some crazy diet. This is what I'm planning to eat and how I'm gonig to exercise and I need to know if you think it will help me lose weight (by the way, i'm a vegetarian).
Breakfast- plain yogurt w/ some kind of berries and granola.
Lunch- usually a sandwich on whole-wheat or rye bread w/ letuce, tomato, onion, and little bit of cheese. plus some pita chips with hummus.
Afternoon- a piece of fruit or two
Dinner- whatever my family makes. its mostly stuff with vegetable. we eat healthy most of the time.
8 glasses of water a day (i'm going to try).
For exercise I'm going to ride my bike alot, 5 miles at least 3 times a week.
If this doesn't seem like a good plan, what would you suggest for me?

I felt the same way when I was 14 and wanted to look good for high school I'm 15 now so im gunna tell you what i did. I asked a friends parent who is a nutritionist (I doubt you know someone thats parent is a nutritionist but if you do you should ask them b/c they need to know about your eating habits,weight, etc.) and she said thats its not the food that make people it's the lack of excersize she told me to lose weight go to the beach and swim,run relax,repeat i did this and i lost 15 and im now 107 5'2 i hope this helped and i hope u lose your weight good luck
Edit: Your diet seems health with some excersize you should be fine if you live in a landlocked area try jogging/running biking and basketball its a great workout if u have a net 2 home play by yourself a friend or brother if u dont go to a local YMCA btw u look great on your picture
